Many of us at Better Rest Solutions either have, or have a close family member who has obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Our personal insight into this condition is part of the foundation that we’ve built our company on. We’re dedicated to providing relief for fellow OSA sufferers, and are proud to be offering the SoClean as a way to get the most out of CPAP therapy.

relates his experience with CPAP:

“When I began CPAP therapy, I have to admit there were times when I thought about quitting. Getting the mask to fit right, fine-tuning the pressure and humidity, and just having to sleep under such foreign conditions–these are the obstacles that all CPAP users have to overcome.

Eventually, I was able to adjust to the CPAP experience, and felt its benefits. There was one area however, that I saw as a persistent challenge. This had to do with how quickly CPAP equipment built up contaminants and how arduous it was to thoroughly sanitize it. I knew there had to be a better approach to cleaning my equipment, but I just couldn’t find one on the market–so I made one.

After thoroughly researching the situation, I went on to fabricate a device that sanitizes CPAP equipment to a degree that I was unable to reach before; doing so in a safe, automated, and easy way. Developing the SoClean system has allowed me to fully benefit from my CPAP experience, and it’s my desire to share this innovation with fellow CPAP users.”

relates this about his wife:

"She was always pretty good about making sure she cleaned her CPAP according to the manufacturer’s directions. Even though it was a real pain to empty the water every day and clean the mask by disassembling the whole thing into several pieces (not to mention the hose hanging in the shower every time I opened the door), she did it.

Despite this, she still suffered from constant sore throats along with more than normal bouts of respiratory infections (including bronchitis). She was doing everything she was supposed to do, but it still didn’t seem to be enough. This left her frustrated.

She almost discontinued CPAP therapy, which concerned me because of the health issues involved. When we discussed the development of this product she was ecstatic. Now with daily use of the SoClean unit I notice that her frustration level has lessened tremendously (which means mine has too). Disinfecting the entire CPAP, unit including the hose and mask, could not be easier, and we both notice that the sore throats and infections are almost non-existent.
